Some forex brokers require you to download and install their software onto your phone or pda.  This is normally done via a usb cable connected to your phone via your pc and transferring then installing the software on your phone.  Then run the application as you would from your pc. You then have the same funtionality and access as you would have on your pc.

Security is not an issue as all forex borkers have specific security measures in place to ensure no hacking or illegal hacking of your accounts.

Obviously the benefits are that it allows the trader to be free frome their computer when they need to be and access their charts or monitor their trades anywhere they wish to, as long as they have wap access via their phones provider.

Most brokers will be able to provide this servcie as once upon a time, it was the domain of the larger and more established forex institutions.
